Holmes County Ohio, Bed and Breakfast is excited to announce return of Amish Country Theater

Holmes County, Ohio, Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast located in Ohio Amish Country is excited to announce that The Amish Country Theater is back! After glowing reviews in 2012, the theater returns with brand new shows for 2013. The unique shows are guaranteed to entertain the whole family, and include: live country gospel music, hilarious actors, magicians, clean family comedians, homemade concessions, souvenirs, a spectacular view, and must of all a fun great atmosphere. It is a place where guests come and laugh together from the second the doors open, through the journey home. The 2013 Show Schedule is: May 16 - December 14, Thursdays at 7:00 pm. Friday and Saturday shows are at 3:00 pm. and 7:00 pm.

Ohio, Amish Country Bed and Breakfast Invites to Musical

A leading B & B in Ohio Amish Country, The Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast invites you to the 2013 theater season at Carlisle Inn! Returning to stage in June will be Beverly Lewis's hit musical The Confession. If you didn't get the chance to see it in 2012, now is your opportunity, playing June 4 through August 17! Come see what happens when the plain life, the not-so-plain life, and the downright extravagant life all meet together in this hit musical drama about a young Amish woman caught in the center of secrets and scandal, love lost and love found, and heartache and healing. The audience will enjoy a roller coaster ride of high and lows combined with soaring melodies, inspiring lyrics, and completely enjoyable orchestrations.


 
All new this fall, from the award winning novelist Wanda E. Brunstetter is the musical Half Stitched, playing August 22 through December 21. In this new hit musical comedy with with dramatic elements woven throughout, Amish widow Emma Yoder's first quilt class brings the most improbable people together. There's a young woman yearning for stability, a struggling couple at odds in their marriage, a young widower hoping to find solace in finishing a quilt, a rough and tough biker doing some creative community service, and a preacher's wife looking for relaxation when parish problems mount. As these beginning quilters learn to change scraps of material into beauty, their torn lives begin to take new shape with the helping hands of each other and the healing hand of God.



Both Stories will capture the audience's heart as they take a journey through the lives of each character while tapping their feet to the Broadway-style melodies and captivating ballads.Tickets are on sale via Carlisle Inn Box Office 855-344-7547. The Shreve Spring Migration Sensation Returns

The Millersburg, Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast located near Shreve, Ohio is pleased to inform those of you who enjoy birds, nature, and the outdoors that the 13th annual Shreve Spring Migration Sensation (sponsored by the ODNR Division of Wildlife, Friends of the Killbuck Marsh, Inc., The Wilderness Center, Greater Mohican Audubon Society, Triway Local Schools, Shreve Library, and Shreve Business and Community Association.) will be held on Saturday, March 16 2013. This spring bird migration event includes self-guided tours with experts that will be located at help stations in the close-by Killbuck Marsh, Shreve Lake, Brown's Bog, and Funk Bottoms wildlife areas, Ohio's largest inland natural wetland, covering 5,671 acres.

In addition to the six workshops and help stations, you can enjoy a full day of "Sensational" Family-Friendly Activities! 10 am. to 2 pm., bring your boots and participate in the dip netting for aquatic invertebrates with Carrie Elvy and the Ohio Certified  Volunteer Naturalists. Be sure and check out their table set up near the roadway where you can get a closer look at the creatures that inhabit our marsh. Visit the Wilderness Center Exploration Area in the Birder's Market Place, where you can view the different booths, with items for sale such as, binoculars, nature photographs, books, bird houses and artwork. At the Shreve Elementary School, children can participate in programs including, face-painting, stories, crafts, and coloring projects.

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at the Shreve Elementary School - 598 North Market St. (State Route 226). A $10 admission ($15 per family) includes any or all events and six workshops. Free maps directing to the help stations will be available.

Ohio, Bed and Breakfast only seven miles from Mid-Ohio Draft Horse Sale

The Millersburg, Ohio, Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast, located approximately seven miles from the Mt. Hope Auction Barn, is a convenient lodging choice for persons attending the Mid-Ohio Draft Horse Sale. The horse sale is held three times a year, the second Saturday in March, June, and October. During the months of March and October the sale begins on Tuesday and runs through Saturday. The sale not only includes many different horse breeds, but  thousands of tack items, harnesses, collars, horse drawn machinery, carriages, box wagons, buggies, and sleighs. Throughout the week over 1,400 horses are sold ranging from drafts, ponies, cross breds, and standard breds. The sale schedule for the week of Tuesday, March 5-9 2013 is as follows:
