Holmes County, Ohio, Bed and Breakfast Shares About Local Benefit Auction

The 37th Annual Holmes County Training Center Spring Festival, coming May 10 and 11, is a great opportunity for guests staying at The Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast, to experience one of  the many annual benefit auctions in Holmes County, which serves as a large attraction to the local Amish communities.

The event benefits the students and adults of the Holmes County Training Center and Lynn Hope Industries, sponsored by the Holmes County Association for Handicapped citizens. Festivities will start Friday and continue all day Saturday, including entertainment, live music, food, raffles and auctions. Friday evening all the auction items can be viewed from 6:00-9:00 pm. Open Volleyball will take place from 6:00 pm to midnight, and soup and sandwiches will be served throughout the evening. Starting at 3:00 Friday will be a bake sale running until 10 pm. Entertainment: Holmes County Bluegrass, Liberated 4 Him, and John Schmid will be performing from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

Craft & Furniture Auction - 9:00 am.
Silent Auction - 9:00 am. - 1:00 pm.
Children's Games - 10:00 am. to Noon and 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm.
Chicken Barbecue - 11:30 am. - Sell Out
Special Auction - 1:00 pm.
Quilt Auction (Featuring over 100 Amish-made comforters, quilts, and wall hangers) - 2:00 pm.

The Spring Festival Auction will be held at the Holmes County Training Center, 8001 Township Road 574, Holmesville, Ohio. 4.5 miles North of Millersburg off of State Route 83. For more information call 330-674-8045
