Ohio Amish Country Group Lodging Close to Berlin and Attractions

Offering group lodging in Ohio Amish Country, the Millersburg, Ohio Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast announces the opening of Apple Hill Retreat, desiged to accommodate groups of family and friends; all in close proximity to Berlin and area attractions.  Providing all the comforts of home, the present two suites are furnished with new beds, mattresses, linens, and new sofas, and will serve a total of 12 people.

Queen-Size Beds in Gardener's Suite
The Cottage Suite includes a queen bed, a queen-size sofa bed, bath with a shower, a kitchen, laundry, and a dining/living room area, two satellite TVs, AC, and WiFi.  It also provides garage parking, a patio, table, chairs, and grill.

Kitchen Gardener's Suite
Spacious and grand, the Gardener's Suite is a two-story suite with 3 queen beds, a sofa bed, full kitchen, large dining room, family room, two baths, one with a whirlpool tub, central heat and air, and comes complete with two large flat-screen, high-definition satellite TVs, a blu-ray player, and WiFi. This suite includes a lovely covered outdoor patio large enough to accommodate 12-15 people.  We've thought of everything, including small items like blow dryers in every bathroom, and we provide individually bottle waters and coffee.

Enjoy all the pleasures of Amish Country during the day.  Visit cheese shops, Amish homes (See the Barn Inn staff for tour recommendations), weekly farmer's markets, eateries - be sure to enjoy Amish fry pies, visit old-fashioned hardware stores, go to Berlin boutique shops, shop for Amish-made hardwood furniture, wineries, museums, and so much more!  Wind down the day by watching the sun set from the this spectacular hill-top location, sit by the fire pit and gaze into the star-filled night, or play cards or converse with family and friends in the covered patio.   Add additional pleasure by attending the Confession, an Amish musical, playing specified dates now through December 15, 2012.
Perfectly located, Apple Hill is located only .07 mile from the scenic Holmes County Trail, offering 15 miles of serene asphalt surface for runners, bikers, hikers, and roller-bladers.  This trail, which winds through wetland areas, is teaming with birds and wildlife and also serves as a path for horse and buggy travel.

Simply designed and carefully upgraded, we are continuing to add to these lovely accommodations.  Within a few months a third suite will be included to provide yet two additional bedrooms, two baths, and another kitchen and living room.  Patio furniture is scheduled to arrive tomorrow; so within a few days, I will post additional photos.  Call the Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast for more information; or if you are considering these accommodations, and wish to view the property, please call for an appointment.

  1. Wow, these are some great options for large groups of friends or families. The queen size beds in the gardener's suite look quite comfortable, and the rooms are very spacious. I especially like the kitchen that is designed for entertaining and cooking for a fair number of visitors. Real cool. My name is Marc, and aside from my love of travel, I also work for Bescover — where we love all things B&B! It’s truly a privilege being a part of your online community.
