Berlin Ohio Bed and Breakfast Features Jubilate String Quartet

On Saturday, August 4, 2012, guests at the Berlin area, Millersburg, Ohio, Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast will enjoy an evening of fine music, as they will be entertained by the Jubilate String quartet from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the Barn Inn's great room. Ohio Amish Country Benefit Auction

Mt. Hope Auction Barn, located in Ohio's Amish Country, will be hosting the annual Rainbow for Hope Benefit Auction on July 28, 2012. This benefit raises money to help families in Holmes County who are unable to pay health costs due to illnesses affecting infants and children.

Friday, July 27, will be the pre-auction festivities featuring local entertainment, a volleyball tournament, activities for kids and a chicken BBQ. A full course breakfast will begin at 6 a.m. Saturday morning with the auction beginning at 8:30 a.m. Auction items include: quilts, crafts, furniture, lawn furniture, and live stock. There will also be a bake sale.

Amish Country Garden Tour

Saturday, July 7, 2012, Every Woman's House will be hosting their annual Garden Tour in Amish Country. There will be a country breakfast at Faith Bible Church at 9 a.m. Marilyn Rehm will be the featured speaker at the breakfast and she will be talking about backyard birdhouses. Tickets for the breakfast are $25, which includes the Garden Tour.

The tour will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at the local Commercial and Savings Banks, Rodhe's IGA, Country Gatherings and Buehler's. Tickets will also be available the day of the tour at all of the stops. The featured gardens this year are at the homes of Tammy & Vic Weaver, Cora & David Coblentz, Charlene Miller and at Blessing Acres Produce. All proceeds go to Every Woman's House of Holmes County.
