Scott and Kathy's estate in Killbuck produces eight different grape types, and 5,000 vines. What started out as a small vineyard of grapes has now transformed into one of the largest in the tri-county area. The couple had plenty of land and needed a hobby to keep them busy. Initially, they sold their crop to other local wineries, but then began making their own wine, now offering 14 different wine varieties.
The winery, located at 2586 TR 34, in Killbuck, will be open Thursday nights, Fridays and Saturdays and during summer holidays. Visitors may sample the wine, explore the vineyard, or go on a guided tour. The facility will also be available for events and private parties.
