Amish Documentary PBS, National Geographic Amish Series

The PBS documentary airing February 28, 2012, will look into the beliefs, lifestyles, and history of the culture. According to information received from our contacts, we understand that this documentary will explore why the Amish have remained a viable and separate community.  This documentary will include MAP (Mission to Amish People) Ministries.

MAP Ministries is a non-profit organization organized in 2001 by Joe and Esther Keim, who were raised Old-Order Amish in Ashland County, Ohio. It is their mission to help Amish people find faith in Jesus Christ, to train churches how to minister to the Amish, and to aid those wishing to transition into a more current lifestyle.
