Sugarcreek Ohio, Trolley, Cuckoo Clock

Back "On Stage", the Annual Sugarcreek Horse Trolley will again be the center of attention as the Belgium horse team, driven by an Amish driver, makes it's grand entrance onto the streets of Sugarcreek, Ohio.  Operating May 12 through October 22, 2011, the narrated, continuous 1 1/2 hour loop will make several stops around Sugarcreek, allowing visitors the pleasure of embarking or disembarking at any point along the way.  Originating at the Amish Heritage Foundation, the John S. Yoder Home, the Trolly will tour through the business distict on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (except Ascention Day, June 2).  A Schedule will be posted at all stops along the route.  The Trolley operates by donations only; P.O. Box 473, Sugarcreek, OH  44681  The downtown merchants thank all who support this great hometown experience.

Among Sugarcreek's unique shops is Collectors Decanters & Steins, 119 East main Street, featuring a wide selection of classic and collectible decanters and is distinguished as Ohio's largest decanter museum.  Admission to museum is free with a purchase or mention that you saw on line; otherwise $5 adult admission.

 The Kamali (PA Dutch for 'closet'), 102 E. Main St., Sugarcreek, Ohio, offers gently used clothing & accessories for infants, children, teens, men, and women.  They also purchase gently used clothing; presently buying for the spring and summer season.  Other shops to visit in Sugarcreek are:

  1. The trolley seems to be vintage. It's frames make up the San Francisco series line back in the 1950's.
