We, the owners of the Millersburg, Ohio Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast believe that a bed and breakfast should offer both a very good bed and a very good breakfast. A sample listing of some of our culinary creations are: Carrot Cake Pancakes with Cream Cheese Sauce, Baked Oatmeal, Maple-Flavored Sausage, Garden Vegetable Quiche, and Pears Extrordinare. Some mornings offer a farmer's breakfast, but no matter what morning it is, guests are always served fresh fruit cups, yogurt, juices, coffee, and homemade bread. I cook for dietary restrictions; diabetic, gluten free, and low fat. If you have special dietary requirements, know that we are here to make yours a safe and healthy Amish Country visit. We hope that you will choose the Barn Inn for your next Amish Country stay; and, if you have a dietary restriction, please tell us about it when you are placing your reservation. Breakfast concludes with an area orientation presented by Loretta.
While in Holmes County, we recommend you shop at one of our many bulk food stores where savings are realized because, in bulk sales, excess packaging and national marketing costs are eliminated. Walnut Creek Cheese is Holmes County's largest bulk food store, offering a vast selection of jams, jellies, and spreads, smoked meats, cheese, fresh produce, bulk food, and a vast selection of cooking wares and is one of our ingredients sources. Walnut Creek Cheese is the place to go for your afternoon snack of Mudd Valley Creamery Ice Cream. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and simply divine and the servings are large for a very modest price. Their lunch counter offers very good sandwiches and salads. After ordering your food, take the elevator to the top floor dining area where you can take a table and chairs that overlooks the lower level.
